Maple_Cedar
Cooked_Salmon

Ingredients:

1 Salmon Fillet cut into 4 pieces
1-2 ceder planks (soaked in warm water 1-2 hours)
1/2 cup of pure maple syrup
1/4 cup of soy sauce ( Hula-Huli sauce)
1 tablespoon molasses
1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes

Directions:

COMBINE maple syrup, Soy sauce, Molasses, and Chili flakes.  Simmer mixture in a small saucepan on low heat for 15 minutes. Allow sauce to cool.  Place salmon and half of sauce mixture in a sealed bag and marinate for 1 hour while cedar plank is soaking.  Set other half of the sauce mixture aside for glaze later.

This is a freat time to prepare your Grill Dome fire for medium heat.

SEASON seder plank with  salt and pepper, place on grill over heat (medium) and cover/close lid for 2-3 minutes or until the plank appears dry.  Place Salmon on plank, cover again and cook another 3-5 minutes until it flakes with a fork. Glaze again and cook 1/2 minute to set glaze then enjoy..
